- Synopsis
- Santiago, a low range policeman, arrives at a regional products stand in Fray Bentos, Uruguay, near the border crossing with Argentina. There he inspects and tastes the cheeses and sausages that the stall keeper exhibits to the customers. In the following days a silent routine is brewing. Santiago repays his snacks by helping with some technical chores thanks to his knowledge of dairy products. The harmony is broken when Argentine policemen who are prowling the area arrive at the post asking for Santiago. A few days before, Santiago managed to cross the border through the customs free shop thanks to the good faith of Rocío, the cashier. That's why he feels indebted to her, but that's not all. He has been captivated and will do everything possible to find her on one side of the border or the other.
