    • Synopsis
    • Sara is a high school teacher who has a passion for singing. She leads a peaceful life with her husband Sami, an architect and their little daughter Yasmine. But just after they celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary, just as the future appears full of dreams and plans, their entire world topples with the accidental death of the little girl. Through winter and solitude, each will grieve the child in a different manner. The couple finally separates. Will love, art, religion and a quest for sources allow them to find each other again?
This film is the story of the crumbling of an ordinary couple weighed down by society, guilt and death. It takes place in a country, which is in the midst of questioning its own identity, nourished with prejudice, torn between the past and an uncertain future and ideal for existential interrogations. However, by being anchored in a Tunisian reality, which is real and palpable, this story is that of a man and a woman, who are just like anyone else and who could come from anywhere, giving a universal and timeless dimension to the film.
