Description
CALA FILM is a 2017 established production company in Berlin with a team of experienced players in the industry. Set up by producer Martina Haubrich, partners are director/writer Barbara Albert, director/writer Angelina Maccarone, Austrian producer Michael Kitzberger as well as Farbfilm distributors Alexandre Geisselmann and Reno Koppe.In December 2020 CALA Film Central was established in Erfurt by Martina Haubrich and Claudia Schröter and in 2022 CALA Film West in Darmstadt.
Objective
Together with young talents and established filmmakers, CALA Film aims to develop, produce and co-produce courageous auteur films -fiction and documentary- and ambitious series for the national and international market, aimed at a curious, open-minded audiences. We rely on innovation, long-term thinking and trust to realise artistic visions, new perspectives on the world and strong films.
