Description
Bayt Al Shawareb is a production company that aims to develop Arabic Films and Television for Middle Eastern audiences. The Arab world is hungry for quality entertainment from within the region, with stories that deal with subject matter that is close to the heart and home. We aim to fill that gap by focusing on genre narratives that are centered in a world that is familiar, stories that touch places we recognize, and most importantly characters we identify with.
Objective
Our first feature film "Theeb" has just been completed and will première in the second half of 2014. We are looking to sit with distributes, sales agents, and festival representatives. Theeb is a hybrid genre “Bedouin Western”. Synopsis: Arabian Desert. 1916. Theeb, a Bedouin boy, ventures on a treacherous journey across the desert only to discover his survival depends on a merciless Stranger.
