描述
台北市電影委員會始建於2008年，不僅為台北市的電影製作提供幫助還積極推動電影在全國乃至全球的推廣。影委會有以下四個主要目標：製片和聯合製片，培訓和教育，影片推廣和發行，以及尋找企業贊助者。台北市長出任影委會的主席，影視界的專家出任其委員，因此它可以稱得上是一個半政府性的組織。影委會將電影產業，專業人士以及公民緊密的聯繫在一起從而鞏固當地電影業的發展。
