    • Synopsis
    • When British art student Lucy meets American Nate during the summer holiday in Venice, it’s love at first sight. As they never want to loose each
other, they follow an old Venice legend that says that a kiss under the
Bridge of Sighs at sunset will bind them together forever.
However, 10 years later they have lost contact. Lucy is just starting a new life in New York working at an art gallery when fate brings them together again. It seems like no time has passed and they fall for each other head over heels again. But soon Lucy realizes that this health & fitness obsessed businessman who is constantly glued to his mobile phone couldn’t be further from the charming relaxed guy she met that summer.
After a big fight they break up – but separating is harder than expected. As if New York happened to be the smallest village, Nate and Lucy keep running into each other again and again and again, getting
caught in the strangest and funniest situations. Lucy is getting more and more confused: Is this the spell working or might Nate even be desperately trying to get back together again?
What starts off as annoying, gets both of them more and more into trouble when Nate’s ex-wife Beth comes into town and he finally has the chance
to reconcile with her. Lucy’s love life also gets completely out of hand, when she starts falling for the charming tour guide Adam. – If only there wouldn’t always be an ex-boyfriend around, messing with their dates.
When an attempted spell reversal gets Lucy into prison and a trip to Berlin ends up with her and Nate sharing the same hotel room, there seems no way to break this vicious circle. Beth and Adam are having
a hard time believing that their partners aren’t having an affair again and break up with them. About to loose their chance for love and luck for
good, Lucy and Nate make a final pact: They are going back to Venice to reverse that spell. There’s just one tiny problem: They have no idea how.
