    • Synopsis
    • We bring together some of the world’s biggest Icelandic music fanatics and take a road trip around the country, visiting festivals such as Aldrei For eg Sudur, explore the physical and cultural landscape and meet musicians and plenty of colourful personalities.
These fanatics, as well as the interesting characters and majestic scenery, will provide the documentary with a unique atmosphere.
On our journey we meet famous icelandic artists, such as Muggison and Ólöf Arnalds, who currently works with Björk on a new Album, als well as Fishermen and the oldes Dj on Iceland how is a sheep farmer.
Through their passion for all icelandic things these protagonists will address some of the documentary’s key themes: What makes the music scene so special? Why can’t you be famous in Iceland? How is it possible that in our globalized and highly individual western world this proud sense of community still exists? And how does the relative isolation and the extreme seasons affect music, community and daily life.
