- Synopsis
- In Candelilla de la Mar, a remote, afro and traditional town, SEGUNDO, a fisherman, and his wife, AMANDA, live happy with their newborn son. ANTOINE, a biologist, arrives to study the estuary flower. Segundo invites Antoine to live in his house, as his wife knows a lot about the benefits of the flower. Antoine creates a great friendship with Segundo and a strong bond with Amanda. One day, when he returns home, he realizes that his wife has fallen in love and left with Antoine taking their son with her. Segundo decides to pursue them across the sea, the Awa jungle and the Andes volcanoes, until he finds out that Antoine and Amanda have left and traveled to France. Segundo crosses the Atlantic and finds his 7 year old son speaking French. Segundo is a titan who must decide whether to leave his son in his world or take him back to the Sea.
