    • Synopsis
    • This documentary tells the story of the wind band “Brígido Santamaría”, which is considered the oldest band in Mexico. It is a journey through the history of the group that, inevitably, also means a journey through their feelings and their music, and that seldom has the opportunity to witness the trajectory and musical quality as well as human quality of this historical and recognized group. The band's founding dates back to 1870 and remains in force despite social revolutions, family breakdowns, and relentless modernity. Nothing has been an impediment to continue transmitting the musical knowledge that it has guarded since its foundation, passing it from generation to generation.
