    • Synopsis
    • The heroes of this movie are birds that are supposed to fly off cameras in order to catch the attention of the subject on the lens. Very young children can see the birds but once they grow up they stop noticing them. Adults don't see them at all. Nevertheless the birds are still there. Each time someone shoots a picture of a person, whether with an amatory camera or a professional camera, a little bird flies off the lens. Those little auxiliaries influence the emotions of the subjects that are shot, and without them no picture would be good. They sing, whistle, grimace and whisper inaudible words that only our unconscious can perceive. Photographers and cameramen don't know a thing about those birds who are the gardian angels of photogenic success.
Once the shutter is released they have a few seconds only to get back inside the camera, otherwise they would be stuck in our world. So the lens becomes an obstacle that the birds cannot overcome and they become visible for the human eye, and most of the time they end up in a cage. In cinema, the birds must go back inside the camera before the end of the take, while it is still shooting. They take mystery halls in order to go from one camera to another. So they just need to go down a tunnel and they end up in an camera shooting at the other side of the world. Whether it is about war documentary, sport event, or fashion, the birds are everywhere.
A yellow bird named Frank has grown up in Marion's father still camera and almost became friend with the little girl. But time goes by and Marion slowly forget about him. Frank leaves Marion's father camera and starts working as a professional birdie for a journalist. During a red carpet night, in a film festival, Frank discovers that Marion, now adult, became a famous actress. So he finds a new job in a movie camera with the hope to spend more time with Marion and make her remember their friendship, and her own childhood.
