- Synopsis
- Farmer Leon fights through survivor guilt and resurgent wartime memories to carry on work at the family farm. The unexpected arrival of Cliff, a fellow veteran rendered mute from his wartime injuries, draws Leon’s focus outward as he provides shelter and food for his former squad mate. An accident at the farm triggers violent behavior by Cliff who attacks Leon. Leon’s five-year-old granddaughter Abigail, a constant presence at the farm, discovers that Leon is wrestling with no one - other than himself. Yet Cliff reappears – his mission incomplete.
