    • Synopsis
    • A series of unrelated events fueled by racism, hate, and circumstance, push several small town citizens to take desperate measures. Amongst them are: Adam, an 18-year-old Caucasian teenager desperate to join the army and follow in his big brothers footsteps; Dunyana, a 16-year-old Muslim girl who struggles to find herself amidst a harsh post-9-11 society; Abdul Ghaffar and Ikhlas Ghaffar, Dunyana’s parents, who struggle to balance their daughter, finances and marriage while living in a small uninviting town; Harrington, a small town Chief Deputy Sheriff who’s beginning to question whether his efforts in law enforcement are even making a difference; Mr. and Mrs. Berk, an old South African couple who oddly enough, provide a breath of fresh air at a time when the tension is so thick, you could cut it with a knife.
