    • Synopsis
    • Seoul, South Korea. Having succumbed to intense pressure and public criticism towards slow investigation process, the primary inspector on a brutal serial murder case commits suicide. Inspector named Edo is appointed to solve the case and he immediately identifies a rich North Korean defector named Gwang-il as the murder suspect, who is under the protection of South Korean government.

Meanwhile, a National Intelligence Service (N.I.S) agent Jae-hyuk is assigned to interfere with police’s case against Gwang-il by the U.S. Intelligence. Despite having indisputable evidence against him, Edo is forced to release Gwang-il, along with a demotion. After spending days in despair, a North Korean Security Division officer named Dae-bum appears before him and proposes a joint investigation to capture the notorious serial killer. Even though Gwang-il is behind the slaughter of a Security Division unit in North Korea, which left Dae-bum critically injured, he has been relocated to and protected in South Korea by the CIA. Now, Edo must cooperate with the North Korean officer in order to arrest the murderer living under the protection of both the CIA and the NIS.
