- Synopsis
- Shadow Island. A ghastly atoll surrounded by a mysterious fog bank, a land beyond the edge of the known world. Ancient lore tells of great mythic beasts that lurk there, a deadly challenge to all who would endeavor to claim the island’s treasure: the Hammer of Thor. But deadly challenges are Viking warrior Thorstar’s specialty, and a debt is a debt. So it is that Thorstar finds himself charged with assembling a team of rag-tag mercenaries to take the Hammer of Thor. Amongst them are dashing swordsman Luther, eccentric explosives expert Henrik, the formidable, beautiful female warrior Freya, and Ivar the Berserker, who is surely the biggest threat to the Thorstar’s supremacy.
  With his crew, Thorstar embarks on a treacherous journey to Shadow Island. The winds of the Gods are not in their favor, and the voyage is storm-tossed and punishing. The Viking long ship is no match for the jagged rocks surrounding the island, and Thorstar and company barely make it to shore alive. Soon, they’ll wish they hadn’t, as the Vikings begin an odyssey into the dark heart of the forsaken island, and towards their fateful encounter with the horrifying monsters that rule the land: mammoth, terrifying, hungry Dinosaurs.
  One contingency wants to turn back, but Thorstar demands they push on, and anyhow, the destruction of their vessel gives little hope of escape. The only way to survive the fury of the Dinosaurs is to confront them head on. One by one, Thorstar’s team is picked off in brutal, breathless battles with the Dinosaurs, including swooping Pterodactyls, menacing packs of Raptors, and the most fearsome of them all, the indestructible Tyrannosaurus Rex. The Vikings must defeat the Dinosaurs and claim the Hammer of Thor, that is, if they don’t kill each other first.
