  Against this backdrop three people, a cop, an ex-con, and a teenage girl find their lives inextricably intertwined… Following his divorce, Alex Decker (Laurent Lucas), a seasoned SWAT officer, struggles to gain the affection of his rebellious teenage daughter Lou (Chloe Coulloud). Victor Preiswerk (Carlos Leal), both his former partner and life-long friend, re-enters Alex’s life upon his release from prison - it was Alex who put him behind bars. The two men settle for a fragile truce until Victor’s involvement with a violent criminal underworld stirs Alex’s sense of duty, and reminds him why Victor was imprisoned to begin with. But discovering a relationship between his ex-wife and Victor, as well as the former con’s unusually protective concerns for Lou, takes Alex to a place that confuses and frightens him, as he prepares to confront a disturbing truth that he has managed to suppress for way too many years.
