- Synopsis
- The hit producer-director team of Chihiro Kameyama and Katsuyuki Motohiro, who broke box office records with their "Bayside Shakedown" films, train their artistic sites on a story centered around a bowl of noodles! Set in Kagawa, Japan's smallest prefecture on the island of Shikoku and a region known almost exclusively for a local noodle dish called "sanuki udon," a young man returns home from New York after seeing his fortune and dreams of stardom dashed. Little does he suspect how important a role a steamy "udon" restaurant in his hometown will play in providing him "food for the soul."
