- Synopsis
- Princess Lou-Ling of the picturesque Kingdom of the Sea has been proclaimed to be the most beautiful in the world. One day an evil spirit appeared and proposed to the Princess Lou-Ling but the princess refused to wed the evil spirit. The denied evil spirit then ruthlessly violated the princess and later the saddest princess in the world Princess Lou-Ling dies while giving birth to her daughter.
  
  A baby girl with an ice-cold heart is born and the evil spirit names the baby Turandot. With the curse of the evil spirit, the world is engulfed into eternal darkness where the sun does not rise. Turandot, who grew up in the kingdom of darkness was also proclaimed the most beautiful in the world just like her mother Princess Lou-Ling. Many numerous suitors continuously proposed to her making her life insufferable when one day an evil spirit appears and hands her a sword of riddle and death. Turandot, holding the sword of death makes her suitors solve three riddles as a condition for their proposal. However, if the suitors cannot solve the riddle they were turned into rocks and died.
  
  Knowing that failure to solve the riddle would lead to death, the male suitors continued endlessly trying to solve the riddle and propose to Turandot. As the darkness consumed the world for decades, people became destitute and gave into death and rumors spread far and wide of Turandot's frozen heart that will never lift the curse.
