    • Synopsis
    • Torquato Neto was one of the major characters in the revolution that changed the destiny of Brazilian culture in the 1960s. A sensible, nonconformist poet; an intelligent, brave polemicist, he was one of the creators of the Tropicália movement and one of the most charismatic figures of his generation. A lyricist, a partner of great names in Brazilian Popular Music, he also worked as a journalist and a filmmaker. This documentary (90 minutes) will tell his short, dramatic story in film, from his childhood in up-contry until his tragic suicide at 20 years of age.
