    • Part road trip, part neo-noir, TOMORROW PAMPLONA is a psychological drama/thriller that tells the story of up-and-coming boxer Danny who is on the run. Lost, confused and desperate, he impulsively hitches a lift with family-man Robert, on his way to Pamplona for his once-a-year getaway, the Running of the Bulls.

On the scenic journey to Northern Spain, the two men develop an unlikely bond, despite Danny’s reluctance to talk. Danny is haunted by his recent past and the sequence of events that have propelled him to run.

Having been signed by major international boxing promoter Gerard Varon, he entered into a passionate affair with Varon’s business associate, Camila Guerrero, with whom he has fallen completely in love.

During the course of the road trip to Pamplona, Danny pieces together the true nature of the relationship between Camila and Varon and their web of deceit, into which he has unwittingly been drawn. While the painful realisation of the disparity between his own fantasy and the truth of Camila’s agenda hits home, Danny is regaled by Robert with stories of the famous Bull Run. Danny’s heart is riven and his conscience is wracked with the deepest regret over the terrible actions he has just perpetrated, where a savage animal rage was unleashed. He arrives at his own agenda for Pamplona, to face the bulls and end it all.

But when things don’t turn out as planned and he is given a second chance, Danny - and Robert - are both compelled to acknowledge what forces are driving their actions and to reconstruct themselves to face the future from a new direction.

With a nod to Hemingway’s The Sun Also Rises, Tomorrow Pamplona centres on a core theme about the beast within us all. It is a fascinating and timely exploration of masculinity - toxic or otherwise - raising questions about tropes, traditions and conflicting archetypes, and about what it is to be a man in the modern world.
