    • Synopsis
    • In 1914, after 450 years under the Ottoman govern, Albania found fredom. To avoid further chaos the Bristish, German and French, decide to impose a German King in Albania - Wilhelm Wied. The Kind is warmly received by everyone, except by the extremist Muslim rebels and their leader, Kus Babaj, who wants Albania back again under the Turkish Sultan. He writes to the King and asks him to get circumcised, or else they would not accept him and war would be declared.
      In the mountains of South East Albania five peasants decide to go to war. They have only an old map of the Ottoman Empire, which does not even show Albanian borders. Shestan (the captain) and his men (Cute, Doske, Tod and Alush) decide to fight for this King in roder to install peace. They walk day and night to find the war, but cannot find it, either because they arrive too late, or they take the wrong route, on account of their old map.
      ON their journey, Shestan, a Muslim, meets Agnes, a young Catholic being brought to a nun's convent by her father. He instantly falls in love with her, but his sincere feelings and his strong will to fight for the King are not going to be a easy mission. Along the journey Shestan and his small group will confront different kinds of obstacles until they find their own truth and sense of life.
