    • Synopsis
    • THE ART OF CHANGEVenice: Appearance at any cost. While the masses flock to the city of lagoons, the remaining natives lack infrastructure, affordable housing and the “typically Italian” social life. While the stereotypes are upheld in order to lure visitors from all over the world, it is the “original” Venice that ceases to exist precisely because of this mass influx. Andreas Pichler casts light on this paradoxical predicament and intones an intricate cinematic requiem.
