- Unable to accept the death of her parents in a shipwreck, a girl named Chispas (Sparky) disguises herself as a child and embarks on a ship with the intention of looking for them. But due to confusion, she ends up trapped in the La cruz del sur...
  A pirate ship! Barracuda, its fearsome captain, is obsessed with finding the treasure of Phineas Krane, the most valuable and sought after by all the pirates of the Caribbean. The clues eventually lead them to what seems like the ultimate hiding place, but there the only thing they find is a book.
  
  By the Kraken, a DAMN book! Sparky is the only one who can read and, curious, begins to read the book, which results being the memoirs of Phineas Krane. Memories that will change the life of all the crew of La cruz del sur. They are not only an inspiration to all pirates, who decide to learn to read too, but turn out to be a "map of letters” that can lead them to the treasure that Barracuda craves so much. But a great threat looms over the Caribbean, and it's in the hands of pirates to stop it. They will only succeed if they are united as they have never been, but the great secret that Sparky hides can put everything in danger ..
