    • Synopsis
    • THE SEVENTH FIRE is an intimate vérité journey into an Ojibwe community caught between the violent rise of Native gangs and the fight for personal and cultural identity. Gang culture and violent crime is at a crisis point on Indian reservations throughout the U.S. The epidemic has spread from the inner cities and prison populations across the vast rural expanses of the country’s poorest and most neglected communities. These urgent problems have received limited attention outside of tribal areas and we intend to bring them to light through the personal stories of our subjects.
