- Synopsis
- Vanessa Fort (40) is the General Manager in Peru of the “Professional Image” Corporation and, as such, knows how to project an image of perfection and honesty, both in her work and personal life. She is nominated for the important award "The Entrepreneur of the Year", for which she develops an intense activity in the media to get the majority of the members of the Entrepreneurs Association to vote for her. Her work team supports her more than ever in this campaign.
  In this situation, her female classmates make a meeting to congratulate her. But the party gets out of control and ends the next day, with Vanessa with a very young man in a hotel and not remembering what happened. Sofía comes to her rescue - her efficient and impersonal assistant - who manages to take her to a live interview on television, which is key to defining the contest's votes.
  
  The next day, the young man from the hotel contacted her to ask for a payment in exchange for not making the photos and videos of the night out public. Thus, she embarks on an eventful road trip to Ica (South of Lima), accompanied by Sofía and Ximena - her best friend - in which they have many setbacks, which culminate in being about to face a popular judgment for a misunderstanding.
  
  But the blackmailer, who did not appear in Ica, does so in the middle of the award ceremony for "The Entrepreneur of the Year." On the terrace of the premises, Vanessa is forced to make a large money transfer in exchange for the indiscreet images. But when she sees them, she is relieved to find that she only fell asleep during the party. However, the joy does not last long, since when she returns to her table by the emergency stairs, she finds her husband with another woman. In the end, Vanessa is the one who takes the long-awaited award, which is tainted by her husband's infidelity, of which she had indications that she had never wanted to accept.
  
  Wanting to thank the great help that Sofía - her assistant - gave her throughout the campaign, she goes to accompany her to the clinic where her father has been operated on and offers her the money to pay for the expensive intervention. Sofía cannot answer because her partner, who is none other than the blackmailer, is approaching. Vanessa understands that both took advantage of the joke of her friends to obtain the money necessary for the urgent operation.
  
  Although she understands what happened, she announces to Sofía her dismissal and that she will make a generous recommendation letter for her next employer. In addition, she decides not to accept a tempting offer to direct the Regional Office of the Corporation "Professional Image" from Miami and broadens the activities of his company by giving talks to entrepreneurs in the provinces. She begins these new tasks in Ica, where she has as students several of the people she met on her adventure.
