    • Synopsis
    • It is the 6 October 2015, the day before the execution of PIETRO, an artist, inmate in one of Bangkok’s jails, accused of the murder of a young Thai woman who is from an important Thai family. ROLAND, a sensitive detective in charge of this case, is going to visit PIETRO and he is trying to find the truth out of this really confused story. What it is clear is that this case is really bizarre: PIETRO is the leader, with his wife NEE, of an international theatre troupe trying to survive in the city of Bangkok, a city dedicated to business and thirsty of money. During a theatre play, a young Thai woman, RAK, in search for herself, discovers the beauty of theatre and decides to leave her bright future as a business manager in order to become an actor. The life of the company is not easy at all and with RAK doesn’t improve at all. A day the Thai girl disappears dramatically during a performance, leaving everybody appalled. PIETRO became the easy scapegoat for RAK’s family and Thai’s authorities.
Many questions frantically move in ROLAND’s mind: RAK was just a rich spoiled girl, so why so many mysteries behind her. Everyone is sure that she is dead, but where is the body? Is PIETRO the murder?
Since PIETRO’s first word in the cell, the whole story becomes a long poetic narration between the grey of the cell and the colourful flashback of the past, a long travel among modernity and ancient times under the eyes of dreaming artists in a fascinating dangerous town.
