Synopsis
Jeanette, a wealthy Parisian woman with a serious drinking problem, spends her time in seclusion on a country estate in the Catskill mountains of New York. There she lives with Martin, an African American painter who she "rescued" and has since given a place to create and regain his sense of self-esteem. A match made in heaven except that Martin is gay and the couple's relationship has become unbearable for him. But all could change when Jeanette's estranged daughter and her new husband comes to visit for a week. Nothing and no one is what they seem and things begin to heat up closer to the reception the mother is planning for her daughter.
