They are a well-oiled machine and each have a different job within the group in in preening their appearance to better fit in as Parisians. They are in love with Lucie a local waitress at the café they frequent, but she’s got worries of her own and sees the Quintet as nothing more than an amusing distraction. They persist however, and she acquiesces as they learn to approach her one at a time, securing a series of dates with her. But as they become closer with her it spurs unprecedented feelings of jealousy between the five. Finally when things go awry with Lucie, they come to realize that they cannot be with her because she is one and they are five. Suddenly everything they've come to believe falls into question and their delicate balance comes under threat. Will the city tear them apart? Do they still stand a chance with Lucie?
