- Synopsis
- Gregorio is a rustic and idealistic peasant who lives frustrated in his village Rosillas.
  He superb and arrogantly proposes to recover for his family the waters of the old canal that were diverted by Colonel Iglesias who is a neighboring Argentine landowner, allied in plot with the mayor of the town for his vine crops. In his journey Gregorio has to confront the communal negligence, corruption and socio-economic power of the elite, leaving aside the love for his little son Olegario, the care of his aging parents and the love of Paula the school teacher who urges him to migrate to the city. How does the one who stays in the place that the rest decided to leave survive?
