In the background of some of the most intrenched conflicts on the planet, we see the conflicts through the eyes of the negotiators and learn of their challenges and their personal sacrifices as they try to resolve conflicts in the most difficult of circumstances.
  Using some of the world's most entrenched conflicts as a backdrop, we revisit their stories and discover, through the eyes of the negotiators, their work, their assessment of the situation and also the personal cost to them of trying to resolve conflicts in the most difficult circumstances.
