    • Synopsis
    • Four epic voyages that defied the limits of the possible and astonished the whole world elevated the Argentinean Vito Dumas as the biggest solitary navigator in the history of the seamanship. These trips structure the plot of life of an authentic Byronean hero - transgressor, multifaceted and bon vivant - that during the decades of ´30, ´40 and ´50 raised to the Olympus of the popular idols. But every hero also descends into hell. The envy of some and the hatred of others distorted his figure to turn Dumas into the "unmentionable" of the argentine seamanship. Died in 1965, in his figure condense many of the ideals and disappointments that marked the history of Argentina during a large part of the twentieth century.
