- Synopsis
- The Londoner is the story of three strangers struggling for a decent life in London.
  Martha and Jeddy survive in the big city doing challenging jobs. Martha is a Georgian illegal immigrant that sells babies to the Georgian Mafia, and Jeddy combines his job in a garage with his skills as a burglar to pay for the expensive treatment of his mentally-ill brother. Their paths cross when they meet Nick, a Londoner diagnosed with cancer that is obsessed to find a mysterious woman he once met in a club and who only gave him the key of her apartment to find her. Since then, Nick’s day and night job is trying that key in all flats and houses in London.
  In one of his attempts to find the right lock for his key, Nick surprisingly finds the right flat in the big city. However, instead of finding the woman of his dreams, he finds Jeddy who broke in into the apartment. This situation will start a friendly relationship between them.
  In the meantime, Martha has sexual relations with different men to get pregnant. She looks for white healthy men in pubs and clubs, and she meets Jeddy in one of them. Even though they both feel attracted to each other, Martha cannot go ahead with their relationship as he is black. The Georgian Mafia doesn’t want her to get involved with black men as their clients are rich white families paying for white babies.
  Exhilarated by the fresh point of view that Nick brings to anything in life, the three new friends get closer to each other as they reveal what they do in the big city to survive. It is when they become more human and affectionate that their lives start to fall apart with fatal consequences.
