- Synopsis
- World-renowned, cutting edge architect Davenport Lear (Bruce Dern), nearing retirement, summons his dysfunctional children (Anthony Michael Hall, Sean Astin, Aly Michalka, Nic Bishop, James Hoare) to a weekend family retreat in one of his architectural creations, a magnificent Malibu Estate. When they learn that he has decided to marry his personal assistant (Victoria Smurfit) the next day, and subsequently feigns his own death, it sets off an explosive and funny round of devious behavior and conflict as each of them jockeys for position borne by self-interest, greed and jealousy…
