    • Synopsis
    • In April 2003, Jack Baxter was filming a documentary about Mike’s Place, a blues bar in Tel Aviv, when two British suicide bombers attacked the international patrons inside. Three people were killed and more than fifty wounded, including Baxter. Out of that traumatic experience, Baxter made the award-winning documentary, BLUES BY THE BEACH (2004) and co-wrote the graphic novel, MIKE’S PLACE (2015).
This full-length documentary was shot during spring through summer 2017 in Jerusalem, Thessaloniki, Skopje, Belgrade, Budapest, Berlin, Stuttgart, Prague, Paris, Nice, Avignon and London. Baxter interviewed, interacted and challenged Muslims with the last words of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), trying to bridge the chasm between traditional and radicalized Muslims, encouraging tolerance and peaceful co-existence.
