    • Synopsis
    • On 25 July 1917, the exotic dancer and courtesan Mata Hari is sentenced to death for espionage. In the St. Lazare women’s prison she is entrusted to the care of Leonide, a young nun. The two women are soon engaged in bitter conflict. But at the same time, they feel drawn to each other, the whore and the nun, by something that is stronger than their differences. As they grow closer, the date fixed for Mata Hari’s execution is fast approaching.
