    • During the summer of 1940, Manhattan artist Clayton Knight teams up with a German émigré Jackie Zimmerman to head up a secret committee to recruit Americans into WWII despite U.S. neutrality. They become embroiled in a world of espionage that pits them against German spies, the FBI, and Franklin D. Roosevelt who vies for a third term as President. In the end, they must betray their countries if they hope to protect their families and change the course of WWII. Based on a true story and inspired by the novel “The Boys of Spring” by Lord G. Gordon Symons.
