- Synopsis
- At the tender age of 12, Julian Lopez witnessed the murder of his father by orders of a commander in the port authority of Barahona. His father and godfather, two humble fishermen, found two packs of drug contraband floating off shore but contrary to his godfather’s will, Julian’s father made a good faith attempt to hand-over one of the packages to law enforcement. Left traumatized by the experience, Julian grew up bitter, thirst of ambition and revenge from those he believed responsible for his father's assassination. He learned how to play the game of corruption, manipulation and money laundering to traffic by land, air, sea becoming the most intimidating crime boss the Dominican Republic history ever knew. But despite the power and access to everything, he met a very special young woman named Laura, who experienced similar traumatic events as a child. In contrast to Julian, she pursued a life of love and charity. Laura was Julian’s true positive challenge and confidant who begged him to exit from crime. Despite of, Julian felt he was late for a change and went after the ultimate target, his godfather’s son and childhood buddy, Tito, and to eliminating the new government leaders cracking on his empire.
