    • Synopsis
    • For thousands of years, Jerusalem has captured our hearts and souls with its indescribable magnetism. Known to many as The Holy City, Jerusalem carries an undeniable spirituality. Our innovative VR experience will capture this energy and invite others from around the world to immerse themselves in Jerusalemʼs Old City through an Interactive Virtual Reality Documentary, the first of its kind. Beyond what a traditional documentary could offer, VR has the power to affect the user in ways that mirror actual experience, making you feel as if you are actually there. Using cutting edge photogrammetrical technologies that allow us to capture real environments in unparalleled detail, and through exclusive relationships with key local religious figures, we were granted unforeseen access to key holy sites throughout Jerusalem; including The Western Wall, The Holy Sepulchre, Al-Aqsa mosque and The Dome Of The Rock. For the first time, these sacred sites will be presented in room-scale Virtual Reality; bookmarked by their holiest events, The Orthodox Easter celebrations at the Holy Sepulchre known as the Holy Fire ceremony, the Ramadan prayers at the Al Aqsa Mosque, and the Priestly blessings at the Western Wall. By giving participants a greater understanding of the people around them and creating challenging interactions simulating the daily rituals unique to the city, we have created the ability to explore the fundamental similarities between the Abrahamic religions that co-inhabit the city and realize that we live by the same and comparable virtues. The Holy City has the potential to be an extremely powerful empathy tool that supports multiculturalism and diversity initiatives worldwide.
