    • Synopsis
    • Eustaquio and Heriberto,two forty-year-old altar boys, live in a chapel located in the middle of
      the missionary jungle. Both were abandoned aschildren and grew up as brothers under the tutelage of Father Roberto: an elderpriest who was their mentor and, who now, at the end of his days, they shouldtake care of and protect.

      But Heriberto wishes toleave the priesthood to spend his days with María - a young woman who hardlynotices him-, and Eustaquio, has received a letter telling  that he will be appointed priest and willreplace Father Roberto when he dies.

      The two altar boys facetheir first great existential crisis. And it is then when Eustaquio has anepiphany that leads him to plot a divine plan: eliminate Father Robertoconsecrating himself as a priest, and helping Heriberto to manage to approachhis beloved Maria, in exchange for his complicity in the murder. Definitely,not everything happens according to plan, and destiny solves its respective livesin a mysterious way.
