    • Florencia is fifteen years old. She lives with her father and four siblings on a small farm on the outskirts of Iguazu. In the hotel where her sister cleans, she meets Cristina, a woman who offers to take her to Buenos Aires to work for a family. The girl hesitates, but her sister convinces her, taking into account her family’s precarious situation, this option might bring in some needed monetary help.
The trip starts off normally, but gradually the woman starts to treat her badly. At night the car stops at a roadside bar, where Raul greets them. Cristina tells the girl she must wait there until the family in Buenos Aires returns from their vacations. They take her into a small room in a basement. The girl is afraid, uncertain of what she is doing there. At night, she tries to runaway, but Raul captures her, forcing her inside where he beats and repeatedly rapes her. The nights start to repeat themselves, the clients, the violence, the humiliations, the pills she is forced to take that make her sleep during the day, the weekly injections "El Oso" gives her, and her desperation for water and food. One glass of water and one tablespoon of food for every client she satisfies, that is the law.
Florencia takes the lead as with the other girls they start to plan their escape.
Florencia’s beauty and youth capture Raul's attention, who each night satisfies his desires with her body. This causes arguments between Raul and his girlfriend Barbara who also works in the bar.
Once a week, Raul forces Florencia to call her family and to tell them that all is fine.
During one attempt to escape, Florencia runs toward a cop car believing that she has been saved, only to be hugely disappointed when that same cop takes her back to the bar, and is handsomely rewarded by Raul.
Florencia is growing weaker. One rainy night, a loud noise is heard outside the bar. Two cars have crashed, there is yelling and crying. Raul and El Oso bring one of the victims into the bar. Sensing that this could be a good opportunity, amidst all the chaos, she approaches the lady from the accident as if to help, making sure the lady notices her.
The days pass, and Florencia grows sicker.
Desperate, she asks a regular client for help. The man appears touched by her plead, it seems like an opportunity for her. But as the days pass, she realizes that the man has lied. With each passing day, her chances of freedom are growing remote.
Barbara and Raul's relationship grows steadily more tense since she keeps pushing for them to leave this place and due to his relationship with the girl.
On the edge of the abyss, destiny seems to finally give the girl an opportunity. One night, the lady from the accident shows up again. But this time she is dressed up like a man, with short hair and pretending to be a client.
Florencia knows that this is her last chance.
Raul and El Oso are suspicious of this man, but it is Barbara that realizes the disguise is to help free Florencia. However, she does not say anything.
Three nights later, the lady returns offering Raul double the amount of money to have sexual relations with Florencia in her car. He is suspicious, but it is Barbara that steps in and convinces him to allow it. He accepts but sends El Oso outside to keep an eye on them.
In the car, with the minutes ticking away and a weak plan, it is time to try for salvation. El Oso seems to frustrate the escape. The approaching dawn is witness to three shots, to the bleeding bodies of the lady and of El Oso and to Florencia's extenuated face as she runs up the mount, dreaming of Joaquin, of his fruit trees and of freedom.
