    • Synopsis
    • 2008, northern France. Marion and her little sister Jeanne, witness their mother Catherine getting back with a man who brings back bad memories. One evening, the man assaults Catherine in a drunken rage, forcing Marion to intervene violently to help her. Panicked, Marion runs to her father’s, who
is normally not allowed to see his daughters. He takes advantage of Marion’s distress to convince her to move to Brussels with him under a new identity.
Fifteen years later, Marion, having heard nothing from her mother and sister, finds Jeanne - who is now a singer - on the internet, and sets off to meet her.
But Jeanne doesn’t recognize her, so Marion decides to introduce herself under her new name: Louise. Pretending to want to write an article about her, Louise
interferes in Jeanne’s life, learning all over again about the girl she was once so close to, while seeking answers to the questions that have haunted her since childhood. It’s a game of deception and pretense that plunges her back into her past, and leads her to cross paths with Catherine again.
Louise finds herself torn between two identities, faced with a choice that will determine the rest of her life: to remain who she has become or to reveal the truth and pick up where her life left off.
