    • Synopsis
    • Charles Boeteng gets off his flight at Vienna International Airport without a penny in his pocket.  He’s just left his wife after discovering their two young children are not actually his, and he’s determined to start again on his own.  His old friend Larry has set him up with a great new job as a UN negotiator, monitoring Iran’s nuclear program.
Charles arrives at the IAEA offices, however, to find that Larry is missing, presumed dead, and that the job he had set up for Charles was bogus.  Not only that, but someone is assassinating the Iranian negotiating team one by one, and Charles is a suspect.
As international tensions mount, Charles must fight for his job and his reputation, while his ex-wife is using every bit of blackmail to get him back.  His only emotional refuge is the beautiful Anna, who helps him navigate the Viennese way of life.
When Larry appears, alive and well, he wants Charles to help dig out the mole in the IAEA, and find out why the Iranians are killing their own negotiators. What Charles finds, however, is that all the evidence for the murders point to Larry.  Charles wonders if he should really get involved – until, that is, the Iranians kidnap his children and force him to hunt down and kill the fourth Iranian negotiator.
As the international situation worsens, and the clock ticks, Charles must decide who he can really trust.  That’s when he discovers the real identity of his children’s father.
