    • Pascual Breijo, 70 years-old, is a happy widow that tries to make the most of life. Besides, he is a native Casanova very successful among the ladies of his same age. However, he would sacrifice a date for his great passion: Tute games with his friends Manolo and Sebastián are unmovable. Ever since their cards partner Dimas died, the gang is looking for a substitute that lives up to expectations.
Victorino Palacio, 68 years-old, just retired and feels he has too much free time. He can’t picture himself doing crosswordw because his life have been full of multiple jobs and a great syndicalist activity. His obsessive character and his political commitment provoked he disregarded her wife Elena and his daughter Amanda, who he separated from. Now, he feels lonely and kind of bitter.
Pascual, Manolo and Sebas find out that once, Victorino was a great cards player and decide Victorino is the man to complete the team. Therefore, they plot a strategy to convince him that the elderly age also has some perks. Them four make a great team. And they become friends.
The conflict arises when Pascual introduces him the woman he is madly in love with. And he must be, because he even was late for a game. He claims she is not another affair but she is the love of his life (after his beloved Gloria, may she rest in peace).
Elena, 67 years-old, divorced, full of life and a very sensible woman still hasn’t answered to Pascual’s marriage proposal but she does have accepted a romantic trip to Bali with him. They all congratulate them. Pascual knows this news won’t please his family.
And much less please Victorino, since Elena is his ex-wife.
Pascual and Victorino declare the war for Elena’s attention. The battle is full of hinders, foul play and some cheating. Despite Manolo’s and Sebas’ attempts, the hang falls apart. Pascual prepares the trip no expense is spared and warns his family that it is his apartment they’re living in, and he will probably need the double bedroom again that now occupy his son Santiago and his daughter in law, Dolores, the one in charge at home. Only his nephew David supports him.
For Dolores the moment for taking drastic measure has arrived. They had discussed the option of sending Pascual to a nursing home before –obviously for his own good-, but now it is obvious that her father-in-law has lost his mind. If they don’t stop him, he’s going to knock down his family assets. Therefore, they start a legal war to incapacitate him for dementia. Exaggerating the situation and taking advantage of little slips from Pascual, they gather enough evidences so that a judge can preventively incapacitate Pasucal. Together with their evidences is a key piece: the declaration by the resentful Victorino calling into question the mental health of his ex Tute partner.
Shortly after Pascual is sent to the nursery home, Victorino tries to make up for lost time with Elena. But it is impossible: she knows about
