    • Synopsis
    • There is a country in the middle of Europe where Police have to guard 24/7 a symbol of equality of sexual minorities. It’s been that way because the famous Rainbow on Warsaw Savior Square was burned down several times. Many gays and lesbians are also dissatisfied because of uncertain future of law of partnership which has been unsuccessfully proceeded at the Polish Parliament. Even if the bill comes into life there is no chance to secure LGBT families the right to raise children. Over the time that I’m investigating this topic something has changed in homosexual people’s mentality. They started to organize themselves into groups. In Warsaw members of one gender families unite in society called “Yesteśmy” to make their life easier. They meet to exchange experiences, find new friends and most importantly show to their children that having two mums or two daddies happens to many kids. Yesteśmy is the first initiative like this in Poland and slowly new groups are being created in other cities.

One of the cases: They met each other surfing over the net. After two weeks of intense romance Agnieszka decided to divorce her husband for Magda. It was 5 years ago. Since then they have raised Agnieszka’s children together. 8 year old Alek and 10 year old Lena decide not to tell at school that they have two moms…

The documentary will follow one gender families during their fight for living life in not so friendly society. To show the complexity of the situation we will include children’s perspective which will help to diversify the point of view of the camera.
