    • Synopsis
    • In the small village of Nossa Senhora da Guia, lives Joãozinho. He lives with his grandmother, Dona Didinha, that adopted him when his father disappeared in one pans and his mother was to live in a brothel . Very sick, the old Didinha supports the grandson with the misery retirement that receives.
      One night Joãozinho was waked up by the prayers of Didinha, asking God to take her. She can not support suffering with pains and the lack of conditions to buy medicine to alliviate her suffering.
      The boy takes an important decision: To sell “Mocinha”, the little goat , and with the money buy the medicine that his grandmother needs.
      Hidden of Didinha, he tries to sell the animal in the small village and finishes in the great city. Knowing nothing or no one he lives all kind of adventures and discovers the hard side of a big city, a contrast with the naivety and the healthy bucolism of a small village of the upstream.
