- Synopsis
- October 1976: a strikingly beautiful young woman is kidnapped by military personnel dressed in civilian clothes in the city of San Juan, Argentina. She is thrown into the trunk of a Ford Falcon. All that is left of her are a pair of sunglasses and a shoe on the pavement.
  Year 2000: the respected French journalist Philippe Broussard is assigned by the newspaper Le Monde to write a story about the famous Argentine model Marie-Anne Erize, who attracted many men with her beauty and glamour on the runway and on the cover of magazines, but was also a member of the clandestine organization Montoneros, and its armed struggle against the military dictatorship.
  Broussard begins an investigative odyssey that will demand more than 12 years of his life, and that will allow him to know through interviews, newspaper and magazine clippings, and a detailed investigation of the judicial files, the seductive French-argentine model that seemed to accumulate so many different lives in her short 24 years.
  Marie-Anne’s ordeal grows in Broussard’s heart and mind, as he discovers a possible executioner for the young model. His international, dogged investigative work identifies the suspect of having kidnapped, tortured, and killed the woman who is already part of Broussard’s life.
  The end of this story is unfolding at the present time… But whatever its ending, the relationship between a 20th century argentine woman and a 21st century French man trascends the frontiers of time and space to turn into a tender and moving story.
