    • Synopsis
    • The Sea Diamond is a luxury cruise ship that stops in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Hainan, Singapore and Phuket. But unbeknownst to many of the laidback and pampered rich passengers enjoying their vacations the ship’s Captain and three of his crew spend their off time planning and executing complex “smash and grab” robberies of jewelry stores, banks. wealthy gamblers, etc. These coastal city crooks call themselves "The Cruisers" and they specialize in “criminal conscious chaos” by giving the public a small portion of whatever they steal. Yet great success breeds contempt, jealousy and distrust in the Cruisers which causes a routine job that goes horribly bad. Soon a joint task force of detectives starts closing in on The Cruisers at the same time ruthless Hong Kong gangsters demand the Sea Diamond thieves pull off a massive multi-million heist. Although The Cruisers are plagued by multiple internal demons while they face their hardest and most direst predicament, they will never back down to anyone or anything because they live and die by their motto: “The bigger the risk, the bigger the reward!”.

The Cruisers will appeal to wide range of people worldwide because it has entertaining action scenes, a greatly diverse cast and multiple exotic locations which are the among the same winning story elements of the multi-billion box office generating Fast and Furious franchise. The film also embodies Hollywood’s hit “cat and mouse” formula of cops versus robbers. The Cruisers has the potential to be hugely popular and profitable as heist/action/gangster films such as Ocean’s Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen ($1.1 Billion), The Transporter, 2 & 3 and Transporter Refueled ($308 Million), Heat ($187 Million), The Italian Job ($176 Million), Swordfish ($147 Million), Point Break (2015) ($131 Million), Get Shorty ($115 Million), Contraband ($96 Million), and Set It Off ($31 Million). The Cruisers also has another exciting element which is it can appeal to huge Chinese audiences because it has many lead Chinese roles and its key locations are in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Hainan, Singapore and Thailand.
