    • Synopsis
    • Ramón Cáceres – also called by the villagers “black Ron” got married in secret eight years ago with Norma Aveldaño in Dean Funes. Black Ron was a widower for ten years, lived in a borrowed house and his romance put him against all his family.
While we investigate the causes that promoted the murder, three people explain other possible derivations of the crime, by telling us a really intimate story of their lives.
This way, in addition to the crime, other motives are shown: the desert of salt, the miserable wages and the desolated landscape. Do the features of a place shape the characteristics of a man? And as a metaphor: Is Nature the instigator of a crime? A crime also motivated by the greed of the woman’s brothers.
