    • Synopsis
    • A tale where Hannibal Lector meets Lord of the Flies, The Company is a portrait of a descent into madness and cruelty; the terrible human cost of one man’s inability to see or accept the consequences of his actions.
1629: The East India Company ship, Batavia founders at the Abrolhos archipelago off the western australian coast.
Now trapped on the island with a pitiful group of greedy merchants and traders, Jeronimus quietly assumes command after the ship's Commandeur, Francisco Pelsaert, leaves them on a hopeless quest to find a rescue ship.
Using the influence of the ship’s naive Predikant, Jeronimus works to organize the survivors, soon only to increase the chances of his own survival.
With Cornelisz in control, an extraordinary reign of terror begins, leaving those who survived wishing they had gone down with the ship.
