    • Synopsis
    • In New Delhi, earth’s most polluted city, the Black Mountain is its biggest landfill. We take the viewer into a hellish world, hearing stories of people – from 12 years of age - living there by collecting waste.
In summer, gases inside ignite, fires burn and the mountain emits smoke. The young workers carry on, silhouetted, breathing fumes. In rain, poison leaks out, contaminating drinking water, ruining health and shortening lives.

Nearby the "Resettlement Colony" houses 20,000 families whose Delhi homes were bulldozed forcing relocation to the landfill. Their women-led organization fights still for expellee’s rights and access to clean water.
