    • Synopsis
    • Tetuán is the personal journey of a filmmaker, a universal story that kicks off from very particular life experiences: those of the main characters, but also Iratxe Fresneda’s own journey. Tetuán is the final chapter of a trilogy, a very personal film that closes a cycle and projects the director into what comes next for her as a storyteller. Magnificent landscapes, gorgeous nature, swarming cities laying beyond the sea, the life and tribulations of communities sharing their destiny with the desert: what the camera doesn’t capture live, archival materials provide, blending past and present by punctuating them with the rhythm of Fresneda’s flow of thoughts, a voice over that transforms the personal into the universal. Connecting this project with Fresneda’s creative and introspective
      voyage on the footsteps of her father will present. Driven by an effective cinematography and an immersive sound design, Tetuán is a stunningly sensorial visual experience best to be experienced on the big screen.
